Originally from Colorado, Kayla began dancing professionally at the age of 18. Since, Kayla has traveled the world over performing for national and international super stars. A regular picture in primetime Hollywood spectaculars like The Academy Awards, The Grammy's, The VMAs, the AMA's, BET Awards and Latin American Music Awards, Kayla has performed with an array of artists ranging from Jason Derulo, P!nk, Trey Songz, Jonas Brothers, Swae Lee, Taylor Swift, Pitbull, Robin Thicke, and Becky G, to Prince Royce, Tom Jones, The cast of the 2012 film Les Miserables, and the stars of the 2002 blockbuster Chicago alongside the legendary Catherine Zeta Jones. Although dance is her main passion and focus, Kayla has also landed screen time in film and television, including appearances on ABC's The Middle, Disney's Girl Meets World, Just Roll With It, and KC Undercover, HBO's Big Little Lies, Woody Allen's Cafe Society, and the Chinese-language blockbuster Gone With the Bullets. In addition to these features, Kayla has also gained experience in stunt and body doubling, adding flare to characters such as Holtzmann played by Kate McKinnon in the 2016 film Ghostbusters, and Briga Heelen's leading role on the NBC hit show Great News.

In addition to her performance career, Kayla is extremely passionate about sharing her knowledge and love of dance with the next generation of creators, and has shared her gifts of teaching world wide.
